San Francisco Litcrawl Reading


Diane Frank reads with Stephen Kessler and Sally Ashton
The International Poetry Library of San Francisco is hosting a Litcrawl reading October 13 from 8:30-9:30pm in the Mission District. The theme is “From Behind the Desk: Poets Who Edit,” featuring Diane Frank, Stephen Kessler, and Sally Ashton. An after-party for readers and hosts will follow. Poetry books and lit mags will on sale.

Diane Frank reads from Swan Light, her new book of poems, accompanied by Erik Ievins on cello. Jeanne Powell reads new and published work, accompanied by Steve Shain on string bass. Michael Larraine, a wonderful poet from Cotati and has just published a book, is the third reader. For the poetry cello performance, Erik gives musical expression to the emotions of the poem, adding layers of musical subtext.

Diane Frank reads from Swan Light, her new book of poems, accompanied by Erik Ievins on Cello and Amelia Romano on Harp. Stewart Florsheim, author of The Short Fall from Grace and A Split Second of Light, reads new and published work.
